With Barcelona as our central hub for engineering and European infrastructure, we are building an AI-native SaaS platform that brings e-mobility, connectivity, building technology and the workplace together in a single backend. For the underlying infrastructure, we have chosen three strong suppliers: Templus Datacenter in Barcelona, the ewl Rechenzentrum Stollen, and AWS.
Since the opening of our research and development centre in Barcelona in September 2025 and the introduction of our Move, Connect and Work concept in December, we have been pursuing one clear goal: a SaaS platform that supports modern, end-to-end digital business processes – for Move, Connect, Work and our partners in these fields.
What sets our platform apart
That processes today matter more than individual systems, that a smart workforce works mobile and AI-supported, that the way people interact with IT is fundamentally changing – this is consensus. Every major platform in the world is built on these principles today. So is ours.
What sets our platform apart is what it connects:
Move, Connect and Work in a single backend. Mobility (vehicles, charging stations, parking), connectivity (communication for people, buildings and systems) and Work (building technology, access and workplace) typically run on separate stacks today – operated by separate vendors, with separate data models. We bring them together. When you welcome an employee at the gate in the morning, you can simultaneously assign them the right parking spot, a suitable service vehicle and the communication channels for their shift – without having to manually synchronise three systems. On a shared data model and a shared identity layer – modular and API-first, but semantically connected – this becomes considerably easier than between three independent platforms.
Cross-company by principle, not as an add-on. Companies cooperate modularly today – even within the same sector. A property firm, a mobility provider and an energy company share access, charging capacity and workspaces; a hospital with mobile care services and a logistics provider share fleets, rooms and communication. If we extend this ecosystem to embedded finance, financial steps in future will also take place directly where mobility, access and work come together. Most platforms are designed within-a-single-company. Ours has been built from the start for sharing across company and sector boundaries – profile-based, time-controlled, automatically billed.
On these two principles – crossover between Move, Connect and Work and cross-company by design – we are building our SaaS platform.
A SaaS platform needs the right foundation
A platform supporting an ecosystem across multiple sectors and multiple companies cannot be locked into a single cloud. It should be hybrid by design – not built on a single pillar, whether a partner, a location or a technology. It needs European performance, global AI capabilities, and, for sensitive workloads, geographic data sovereignty – all in parallel and intelligently orchestrated.
That is exactly why we have deliberately chosen two Netsuisse DC regions and a scaling partner layered on top:
- Netsuisse DC region EU – Templus Datacenter in Barcelona. Our choice for European workloads. Low latency, EU-compliant data processing and a cost profile that scales tangibly with the growth of European use cases. This covers the bulk of what our platform handles day to day – and at the same time leverages physical proximity to our engineering hub.
- Netsuisse DC region CH – ewl Rechenzentrum Stollen Luzern. Our choice for workloads requiring Swiss data sovereignty. Certified to TÜVIT TSI Level 3 and ISO/IEC 27001, sustainably cooled with water from Lake Lucerne, exclusively governed by Swiss law – the right home for everything that is sensitive and must stay that way.
- AWS – layered on top for scaling and AI integration. With access to massive compute, modern ML and inference services and global availability, we keep our platform AI-ready and elastic – without having to compromise on the two Netsuisse DC regions.
Barcelona as our hub
In Barcelona, we bring together our European engineering and a substantial part of our European-centric infrastructure. From here, we orchestrate the three suppliers into a single platform: a unified experience on the outside, an intelligent multi-DC architecture on the inside that picks the right location for data, logic and intelligence depending on the requirement.
What we are looking forward to
We are building the foundational platform our partners build on – with the building blocks for Move, Connect and Work. Consumable, scalable and seamlessly integrable into our partners’ digital business processes.
With Templus Datacenter, the Rechenzentrum Stollen Luzern and AWS, we have selected the suppliers for our foundation. We develop the platform and its building blocks – and we are particularly excited to see what our partners will build with it: property firms, mobility providers, telcos, cities, energy companies, embedded finance providers, hospitals and care organisations with mobile services – and everyone who wants to combine Move, Connect and Work into new business models.
The transformation continues – now with a platform that connects more than just technology.
